This 17th century oak box features a simple rectangular design typical of the period. Constructed from solid oak, it shows signs of age consistent with its creation in the 17th century. The surface may exhibit natural wear and patina and has a support on the underside of the lid and had its floor and lock replaced reflecting its history.
