My passion is for art, the arts and crafts movement and country house interiors. I source items that are made from good quality materials, well made, attractive and will last many generations and occasionally with assistance from professional restorers help items return to the state they were when first made. My father and Grandfather were antique dealers and after leaving the RN in 1984 I had four years in the 1980's as a full time antique dealer then spent decades working for others gazing out of windows with the hope of returning to the antique business and finally started Graham Deakin Antiques at the end of 2024.

This restored 18th century walnut toilet mirror features a rectangular frame with a rich, dark finish typical of the period. The mirror is supported by a swivelling mechanism, allowing for adjustable angles. The piece is made from veneered walnut, showcasing craftsmanship of the 18th century. It is designed for personal grooming and reflection, often used in dressing tables of that era. In good condition with age related wear and foxing to the mirror.
