My passion is for art, the arts and crafts movement and country house interiors. I source items that are made from good quality materials, well made, attractive and will last many generations and occasionally with assistance from professional restorers help items return to the state they were when first made. My father and Grandfather were antique dealers and after leaving the RN in 1984 I had four years in the 1980's as a full time antique dealer then spent decades working for others gazing out of windows with the hope of returning to the antique business and finally started Graham Deakin Antiques at the end of 2024.

Abstract oil painting by Hazel Gomes who was born in Goa in 1949 and worked as an illustrator for Vogue, Elle and Marie Curie. Her work has been exhibited in Paris and London and can also be viewed at Saatchi online. Signed on the back with the title on a label on base of the frame.
