My passion is for art, the arts and crafts movement and country house interiors. I source items that are made from good quality materials, well made, attractive and will last many generations and occasionally with assistance from professional restorers help items return to the state they were when first made. My father and Grandfather were antique dealers and after leaving the RN in 1984 I had four years in the 1980's as a full time antique dealer then spent decades working for others gazing out of windows with the hope of returning to the antique business and finally started Graham Deakin Antiques at the end of 2024.

Stunning carved gilded wood oval mirror, the mirror has a date of 1878 but the frame could be older and this was a replacement mirror at that time. The mirror does have minor foxing. All in original condition with one repair as shown in the photo that displays a slightly darker gilding.
