My passion is for art, the arts and crafts movement and country house interiors. I source items that are made from good quality materials, well made, attractive and will last many generations and occasionally with assistance from professional restorers help items return to the state they were when first made. My father and Grandfather were antique dealers and after leaving the RN in 1984 I had four years in the 1980's as a full time antique dealer then spent decades working for others gazing out of windows with the hope of returning to the antique business and finally started Graham Deakin Antiques at the end of 2024.

An interesting antique travel trunk by Pukka who were  a renowned maker in England during the early part of the 20th century. They were suppliers of travel trunks to Harrods, the Army and the Royal Navy. This is a good quality trunk with leather handles and brass Bramah locks. There are signs of wear and tear as shown in the photos.
