My passion is for art, the arts and crafts movement and country house interiors. I source items that are made from good quality materials, well made, attractive and will last many generations and occasionally with assistance from professional restorers help items return to the state they were when first made. My father and Grandfather were antique dealers and after leaving the RN in 1984 I had four years in the 1980's as a full time antique dealer then spent decades working for others gazing out of windows with the hope of returning to the antique business and finally started Graham Deakin Antiques at the end of 2024.

This Georgian mahogany and inlaid chest of drawers dates to approximately 1830. It features a classic design typical of the Georgian period, with geometric  inlaid detailing on the drawer fronts. The chest is constructed from mahogany with columns either side on the front with ebony stringing and crossbanding on the top. All in good solid condition with age related wear ad some restoration.
