My passion is for art, the arts and crafts movement and country house interiors. I source items that are made from good quality materials, well made, attractive and will last many generations and occasionally with assistance from professional restorers help items return to the state they were when first made. My father and Grandfather were antique dealers and after leaving the RN in 1984 I had four years in the 1980's as a full time antique dealer then spent decades working for others gazing out of windows with the hope of returning to the antique business and finally started Graham Deakin Antiques at the end of 2024.

"Gillows of Lancaster" by Susan E Stuart, covering the period from 1730 to 1840. These two volumes provides a detailed examination of the furniture designs and craftsmanship associated with the Gillows of Lancaster and  is intended for reference and study of historical furniture. In good condition with some wear on the slipcase and on bottom right jacket of volume 11 as shown.
