Joseph Clark (1843-1926) Oil on Canvas

Joseph Clark was a prominent victorian artist Known for his oil paintings of family life, children and cats. He was a member of the institue of oil painters that was limited to only one hundred and a member of the Royal Institue of painters in oil (ROI), also amember of Royal Society of British Artists, Royal Institute of oil painters, New Watercolour Society, Grosvenor Gallery. He is represented in the Tate Gallery by "Earl Promise" 1877 and "Mothers Darling" 1884 and in the V & A museum in London
