My passion is for art, the arts and crafts movement and country house interiors. I source items that are made from good quality materials, well made, attractive and will last many generations and occasionally with assistance from professional restorers help items return to the state they were when first made. My father and Grandfather were antique dealers and after leaving the RN in 1984 I had four years in the 1980's as a full time antique dealer then spent decades working for others gazing out of windows with the hope of returning to the antique business and finally started Graham Deakin Antiques at the end of 2024.

This mid-century gilt wood sunburst mirror was created around 1960. It features a circular mirror at the centre, surrounded by elongated rays made of gilt wood, creating a sunburst design. The mirror is suitable for wall mounting and showcases the design aesthetics of the mid-20th century. All in good condition with age related wear to the wood and mirror.
