My passion is for art, the arts and crafts movement and country house interiors. I source items that are made from good quality materials, well made, attractive and will last many generations and occasionally with assistance from professional restorers help items return to the state they were when first made. My father and Grandfather were antique dealers and after leaving the RN in 1984 I had four years in the 1980's as a full time antique dealer then spent decades working for others gazing out of windows with the hope of returning to the antique business and finally started Graham Deakin Antiques at the end of 2024.

This item is an oil on canvas painting by artist Lio Giorgetti, created around 1970. The artwork features a composition typical of Giorgetti's style, characterised by its use of colour and brushwork. Very much in the style Van Goughs painting of "The Chair"  this painting is titled "Interno di cousins taverna" and signed (verso) and also signed bottom left on the front.
