My passion is for art, the arts and crafts movement and country house interiors. I source items that are made from good quality materials, well made, attractive and will last many generations and occasionally with assistance from professional restorers help items return to the state they were when first made. My father and Grandfather were antique dealers and after leaving the RN in 1984 I had four years in the 1980's as a full time antique dealer then spent decades working for others gazing out of windows with the hope of returning to the antique business and finally started Graham Deakin Antiques at the end of 2024.

This item is a pair of embroidered panels designed by Selwyn in approximately 1885. These panels feature intricate floral motifs and are crafted from textile materials typical of the period. Each panel showcases the characteristic flowing lines and organic forms associated with Art Nouveau design and are in original condition with some age related wear.
