My passion is for art, the arts and crafts movement and country house interiors. I source items that are made from good quality materials, well made, attractive and will last many generations and occasionally with assistance from professional restorers help items return to the state they were when first made. My father and Grandfather were antique dealers and after leaving the RN in 1984 I had four years in the 1980's as a full time antique dealer then spent decades working for others gazing out of windows with the hope of returning to the antique business and finally started Graham Deakin Antiques at the end of 2024.

This listing features a pair of oil paintings on board, depicting 19th-century harbour scenes. The works are attributed to the artist W Butler and are approximately dated to 1900. Each painting showcases maritime elements typical of the period, executed in oil on wooden boards. Signed on the bottom of both paintings and both in good untouched condition and presented in wooden gilt frames.
