Victorian Nursing Chair

This late 19th Century Victorian antique walnut chair dates to approximately 1880. It features a wooden frame with a traditional upholstered seat and backrest, designed for comfort. The chair's style reflects the aesthetic characteristics of the Victorian era, including ornate detailing on the legs that have gothic influences and sitting on two front legs with brass and porcelain castors. Number 1148 stamped on the inside of the back left leg.
